Meet the Founder

Sola Adesakin — the woman behind the mission

A Chartered Accountant, wealth coach, published author, and one of Africa's most recognised financial educators, Sola Adesakin founded Smart Stewards in 2015 with a single conviction: that financial education is the most transformative gift you can give a person.

With a background in accounting, business management, and financial consulting, Sola has spent over two decades demystifying money for individuals, families, businesses, and governments across Nigeria and beyond. Her approach is practical, relatable, and deeply rooted in her faith — teaching that financial stewardship is both a personal discipline and a divine calling.

"Money is not your enemy. It is not a test of your worth. It is a language. And like any language, you can learn to speak it fluently — at any stage of life."

She holds the FCA, FCCA, CPA, MBA, and CFEI designations, and has been recognised by some of the world's most prestigious institutions — from Goldman Sachs and the Cherie Blair Foundation to the US Government and Nasdaq.
